Now don't get me wrong I completely loved this movie. pretty much everything about it, I just have a few minor complaints.
Spoilers Ahead
The first would be after the Locket scene, which was completely awesome by the way, when Ron and Harry are sitting on the forest floor, I wanted the scene when Harry reassured Ron that nothing was happening or would ever happen between him and Hermione, that he only thinks of her as a sister and she feels the same way. I felt that even in the movie that Ron needed that reassurance from his best friend, plus I wanted the hug that followed. Because the friendship in the books is one of the things that I truly love throughout, its quite compelling that these two have stuck by harry throughout this entire ordeal and have never looked back. But anyway back to this scene they could have squeezed in tht Harry doesn't feel about her that way or could have told him that she is all his always has been.
My next complaint would have to be the Harry/Hermione dance scene. Now I liked it for the most part because something lighthearted needed to happen while Ron was gone. I think it portrayed their friendship very well until it started to look like Harry wanted to kiss Hermione, and then I was like no no no no. Me I have never seen anything romantic between Harry and Hermione, I've just always seen a truly deep friendship never anything more, and that is the one thing I didn't like about the scene. I guess the producers wanted to throw the H/Hr shippers a freaking bone or something.
Quick question: where was Voldemort in Godric's Hollow? I think that if he would have been there in that moment that would have only added to the suspense of that scene and how close to death Harry almost was, Hermione could have also mentioned that the locket burned itself into Harry's skin.
My final complaint is the Malfoy Manor scene. I loved how it was written in the book with Ron screaming his head off while we hear Hermione being tortured. In the movie, he was way to calm , I mean come on the love of his life is being tortured by Bellatrix, and he's just standing around. I like the angst and anguish that Ron is feeling because he can't get to her and how hard was it for them to instead of making it a cell door, and making it a full on wooden door like in the book, so Ron could bang on it. and then the Peter Pettigrew scene why couldn't they have done it like in the book, I always thought that was so awesome. His own hand ends up killing him because he showed a moment of weakness. The reason that I was so disappointed with this scene is because it was the one i was most looking forward to and I know that Rupert could have handled the anguish that Ron is feeling because he is completely helpless and can do nothing for her. And the Pettigrew scene is just awesome.
But like I said before those are the only complaints that I have, other than that it was perfection.
